Tasting notes: Charming and aromatic, a smooth mouthfeel with a peppery twist although an explosive, mouth-watering palate and ample structure, almost-black, powerful but rewardingly elegant and easy-to drink. With ripe and rich aromas of black fruits, especially blackcurrants with hints of roasted red pepper, spiciness and chocolate on the finish.
Food pairing: Beef Burgers or Stew, Turkey with Cranberry, Liver pâté, Roasted Red Pepper, Tomato and Eggplant salad, Camembert and Feta cheese.
