Tasting notes: The rich, complex and intense taste is nevertheless balanced by the balance between the sweet and sour components, i.e. the aromas of honey and candied apricots are tempered by the notes of citrus, white apples and basil.
The sweetness of the wine enhances the flavours without spoiling its balance, on the contrary, it makes it unctuous, more velvety, more sophisticated.
The specific minerality of the Minis-Maderat Vineyard gives the wine a special touch of elegance expressed in the taste by the notes of salted caramel.
Food pairing: Classic: strudel with cheese and raisins, cheese cake
- Elegant: foie gras with quince sauce
- Modern: Asian cuisine, spicy dishes
- Sophisticated: a plate of ripened cheeses at the end of the meal containing gorgonzola, Roquefort or blue stilton.
